| WELCOME to our website - Pastures Company of Archers are a friendly target archery club based at the Pastures Sports and Social club in Mickleover, Derby, with a good a mixture of ages and abilities, shooting longbow, recurve and compound. We enter the local and national leagues, summer and winter and attend numerous other shoots throughout the year. You can go to as many or as few as you like, some members just shoot for the warm summer days and others brave the 'Frostbites" (Winter outdoors!) Its all good fun. Archery has shaped our society throughout history and nowadays it is an excellent way to forget the stress of modern life. |

Why not try our July beginners course, which introduces you the the sport of Archery, teaches you to safely handle a bow with the objective of achieving gold by the end of the course. Besides the tranquil setting of Mickleover Country Park, why not relax in the Club house afterwards for our after shoot club, where soft drinks, coffee, etc are all sold at the bar (as well as other stuff). Its a social gathering of members, where you can chat about archery, life or just total nonsense. Everybody is welcome and, you might learn something!!
