WELCOME to our website - Pastures Company of Archers are a friendly target archery club based at Mickleover Country Park Social Club in Mickleover, Derby (Formerly Pastures Sports and Social Club). We have a good a mixture of ages and abilities, shooting longbow, recurve and compound.
We enter the local and national leagues, summer and winter and attend numerous other shoots throughout the year. You can go to as many or as few as you like, some members just shoot for the warm summer days and others brave the 'Frostbites" (Winter outdoors!).

Besides the tranquil setting of Mickleover Country Park, why not relax in the Club house afterwards for our 'after shoot' get together, where soft drinks, coffee, etc are all sold at the bar (as well as other stuff) to compliment the amiable and sometimes informative ramblings of fellow archers!
It's a social gathering of members, where you can chat about archery, life or just total nonsense.
Everybody is welcome and, you might learn something!! |

Why not try one of our beginners courses, which introduces you to the sport of Archery, teaches you to safely handle a bow with the objective of achieving gold by the end of the course. These are ideal for families as well as those of you that are looking for something different and challenging to occupy your spare time. From 10 years of age to the time of life where pensions and bus passes keep you company.

We also have an excellent venue for our indoor sessions over the winter period.
Senior and Junior archers alike can hone their skills by participating in the the winter indoor league shoots. So whether you want to shoot longbow, recurve or compound, why not give us a call. |
