The indoor seasons first Postal League shoot was well attended by 24 Archers from the club, a big thank you to all those who attended to support the club in this shoot. The round was a Portsmouth and all places were being hotly contended. This bodes well for the future shoots as we all know we will have to be on good form to gain a place in either the A team or the B team.
Well done to those Archers who managed to get into the A team, these were Tony D, Lee C, Jack E, Phil A and Melvyn M. All with scores over 540.
Also well done to those Archers who got into the B team, these were Cat S, Paul H, Richard G, Pete S, and Mike K. With the top B team score being only 3 points away from gaining entry into the A team, just think of those arrows that got away!!
It was nice to see 4 compound archers attending to compete for places in the compound team. In the compound team were Ken B and Tom T. Nice to see no
misses from Ken, unlike at the bare bow shoot earlier in the season.
Thank you to all the archers who attended and congratulations to those who gained entry to the teams and also to those who shot PB’s on the night.
With the next indoor league shoot being on Tuesday 11th December we all have time to practice and to improve our scores. I am certain that the places will be harder to achieve as some of the archers who were absent may also attend. In my opinion being in India is no excuse for not being there! I will try to remember to bring a printout of the full results on Tuesday night so everyone can see how well they shot, sure to see you then,
